The Auschwitz Jewish Center Program for Students Abroad is a 4 to 5-day program in Poland that provides a scholarly learning environment through = which students can engage intensively with the history of the Holocaust = and Jewish life in Poland. Participants will visit Krakow and Oscweim, work with scholars, take in-depth tours of Auschwitz-Birkenau, hear testimony, and engage in meaningful discussion. Students will learn about the history of the Holocaust and of Auschwitz in ways that they cannot through independent visits and will be able to incorporate the lessons they learn into their academic, personal, and = professional lives in a significant way.
An eligible candidate is matriculated in an undergraduate or graduate = program and is engaged in study abroad. Applicants are required to submit academic transcripts and references. The application can be found

Two programs will be held in Spring 2011: April 14-17 and May 13-17. All applicants will be informed of their status no later than March 14.
